About us

Bunkyo Multilingual Support Network established 20 years ago. We have provided the opportunity for foreigners living in Bunkyo ku to experience how to deal with earthquakes. Also, we translated BOSHI TECHO in English and Chinese, and answered various questions about Japanese everyday lives from foreigners living in and outside Tokyo.

Recently, the number of children who are not yet used to Japanese has increased in Bunkyo ku, and we realized that many parents are having difficulties in getting information about Japanese schools.

In this way, we decided to create a guidebook about public elementary schools in Japan. Although detailed rules will differ depending on each school, we hope that this guidebook will help parents to understand Bunkyo ku and public elementary schools in Japan.
